Russian troops have changed their tactics in the war with Ukraine, shifting from capturing cities by force to completely destroying their infrastructure. This is confirmed by the well-known military blogger and Ukrainian sniper, Serg Marco. He noted that this strategy has already worked in some cities and is now being applied to Sumy.

This has already worked in Selidove, Novohrodivka, and partially in Pokrovsk. Now the same model is being applied to Sumy

Instead of direct assaults, Russian troops are using methods such as cutting off electricity, communications, and water supply. This has led to serious problems in Sumy, which has become the next target of this new tactic by the occupiers.

It is also worth noting that the Russian Federation plans a breakthrough in Dnipropetrovsk region, where it intends to exploit the vulnerabilities of the area. Such a move could pose a threat to cities like Pavlohrad or even Dnipro.

This is a classic tactic of multi-front pressure, which works only when there is insufficient concentration of defense forces

Some cities in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions have also been under increased threat due to active hostilities by Russian troops. Previous captures and advancements indicate that Russia is trying to distract Ukrainian reserves and increase pressure on various fronts.

Overall, the new methods of Russian military tactics present a serious threat to Ukrainian cities and regions, requiring enhanced defense and increased combat readiness.
