Starting from April 7, one-time payments of 1500 hryvnias have been launched in Ukraine for citizens receiving social support or pensions. Funds are credited automatically without the need for an application. This is reported by "RBK-Ukraine".
1500 UAH payments in Ukraine: who will receive assistance
According to Minister of Social Policy Denys Uliutin, all recipients of social payments and pensioners are entitled to the payment.
In total, about 13 million Ukrainians will receive the assistance.

According to the minister, funds have already been allocated for hundreds of thousands of pensioners receiving payments through "Ukrposhta" to start the accruals.
Social assistance of 1500 UAH: how funds are disbursed
The money will automatically arrive in bank accounts or along with pensions through "Ukrposhta" branches. No additional contact with institutions is necessary.
Payments will be processed:

to bank accounts within a few days,

through "Ukrposhta" together with the monthly pension.
There are no restrictions on how to use these funds. They can be spent on any needs.
The Ministry explains that this assistance is intended to ease the financial pressure on the population due to rising expenses, especially as a result of the fuel crisis.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the government is preparing new support programs, including additional payments for pensioners and compensation for fuel costs.
It is worth noting that Minister of Social Policy Denys Uliutin reported about the availability of funds for social payments in Ukraine. The state budget for 2026 provides funding for the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Youth of Ukraine in the amount of 468.5 billion UAH.
