Today, along with the celebration of Universal Children's Day, we mark Children's Protection Day. This event emphasizes the importance of our children's future and our responsibility towards them.
Special attention is given to the circular security system for children. Many initiatives and projects have been implemented to ensure their well-being:
- Educational safety service inspectors operate in over 1800 schools.
- Alarm buttons have been installed in most educational institutions, and police patrol routes have been strengthened.
- Tens of thousands of children have been evacuated from dangerous areas.
- Mobile safety classes conducted over 1000 lessons on basic safety rules for nearly 70,000 students.
- Collaboration of juvenile prevention workers has provided comprehensive protection for children from various threats, including cybercrime.
Support for Heroes' Children
Particular attention deserves assistance to children of servicemen. A network of lyceums focused on security and national-patriotic education, created at the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko, provides an opportunity for defenders' children to receive a quality specialized education.
And today, when the whole world speaks of the right to a safe and happy childhood, Russian aggression continues to deprive children of this right. We bear great responsibility - to do everything possible so that even during the hardest trials, children feel safe.
Children's Protection Day is a great reason to reaffirm how important it is to ensure safety and support for children in any situation. Together, we are capable of creating a better world for future generations.
