Today we received the Bethlehem Flame of Peace - an important good tradition that passes through communities across the country. This symbol of unity was handed to us by the Kyiv branch of scouts.
Flame Motto
This year the motto of the Bethlehem Flame is 'With Light We Will Overcome the Darkness'. These words are especially important for Ukrainians, especially in times of war. The light and warmth of this flame remind us of simple but important things: supporting each other, being united, and sharing responsibility for the future.
Spreading the Flame
On the eve of Christmas, the Bethlehem Flame reaches cities and villages, our military, hospitals, schools, and frontline communities, bringing warmth, faith, and hope.
We express our gratitude to the scouts for preserving this tradition and their sincere mission - to bring light. In difficult times, such strong symbols help us remain united.
The Bethlehem Flame of Peace is not only a symbol but also a reminder of the importance of helping each other, regardless of difficulties or challenges. This tradition is another way to support and unite Ukrainian society in difficult times.
