The government allocated billions for hospitals, shelters, and generators for schools: details of the decisions

Today in Zaporizhzhia, a government meeting took place where it was decided to redistribute funds for important infrastructure projects in the regions, particularly in frontline areas. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.



Safe conditions for children's education are one of the government's priorities


The government allocated 40 million UAH for the reconstruction of the Mykolaiv regional children's hospital and 30 million UAH for the Kharkiv regional children's hospital for the construction of a lift shaft for people with limited mobility and the major renovation of the emergency department.



In addition, an educational subsidy of 30.96 million UAH was distributed to complete the construction of anti-radiation shelters for two educational institutions in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Zhytomyr Regional State Administration also received 147.8 million UAH to assist residents of the village of Berezyna, who were affected by the explosion.



Financing for educational institutions


More than 460 million UAH was directed to educational institutions. This amount includes 125 million UAH for the purchase of generators, batteries, and inverters, 334.5 million UAH for the payment of utility services and energy carriers, and 5.1 million UAH for the needs of the Small Academy of Sciences.



The Ministry of Education will coordinate the use of these funds according to the budgetary allocations and monitor their allocation for their intended purposes.



The government meeting in Zaporizhzhia led to the allocation of funds for infrastructure projects in regions, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities, contributing to the improvement of conditions for citizens in various parts of the country.
