What’s Coming to PS Plus in August

Sony has unveiled the August selection of games for PS Plus subscribers, featuring three titles that will be available to claim starting August 4. As part of the monthly PS Plus Essential membership, players can add these games to their library at no extra cost. The lineup includes:

  • Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition for PS5 and PS4
  • Big Walk for PS5
  • Signalis for PS4

These games can be redeemed from August 4 until the end of the summer. Additionally, starting August 6, subscribers can grab the MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack, which remains available through August 6, 2027.

Breaking Down the August PS Plus Titles

Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition bundles the 2022 base game with the Bloody Ties expansion and the Firearms Update. The story takes place two decades after the original, with protagonist Aiden Caldwell at the center. A key feature is the co-op mode, which supports up to four players.

Big Walk launches on PS5 August 4 and joins PS Plus the same day. Designed for 2 to 12 participants, it supports crossplay with Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and Mac, letting friends play together regardless of platform.

Signalis, a psychological horror title from German developer rose-engine, heads to PS4. Players control Replika Elster and manage a limited inventory of six slots. A single playthrough takes roughly 10 hours, focusing on atmosphere and narrative twists.

Moreover, from August 6, PS Plus subscribers can claim the MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack. It includes five avatars—Captain America, Storm, Spider‑Man, Doctor Doom, and Ghost Rider—along with 20 result screen poses.

The July PS Plus lineup—featuring Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For the King II, and CrossCode—remains available for redemption until August 3. This August batch promises engaging new experiences for players seeking fresh adventures in the gaming world.

This August offering highlights Sony’s dedication to regularly updating and expanding content for its subscribers, providing a blend of new releases and established titles.

With cooperative play and cross‑platform capabilities, gamers can look forward to a more interactive experience. Special packs like the MARVEL Tōkon further enhance value for subscribers, driving interest in the platform and boosting community involvement.

As the gaming community eagerly anticipates the new titles in August, it's worth reflecting on the previous month's offerings. The July PS Plus lineup featured notable games like Avatar and Call of Duty, which set a high standard for this month's selections. Comparing these lineups highlights the diverse gaming experiences available to subscribers.
