Sony has unveiled its new PlayStation Pulse wireless headset, scheduled to start shipping on November 19, coinciding with the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI on the PS5. Pre-orders will open on October 29. Priced at $100 (approximately 4500 UAH), the headset will be available in sleek black and white color options.

The PlayStation Pulse headset features upgraded, larger planar magnetic drivers compared to the previous Elite model, delivering richer sound quality. It includes an AI-enhanced microphone designed to effectively reduce background noise. The headset supports both Bluetooth and the PlayStation Link protocol, enabling seamless connection to PS5, PlayStation Portal, Mac, and PC. Sony highlights rapid device switching and lossless audio transmission with ultra-low latency through PlayStation Link technology.
The initial rollout will cover customers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and over ten other countries, with release dates for additional markets to be announced later. Additionally, Sony plans to launch Pulse Elevate wireless speakers in November at $220 (around 9900 UAH), which also utilize planar magnetic drivers. A premium headset model named Pulse Edge is expected next year.
Sony emphasizes that the headset delivers “fuller, deeper bass while maintaining clear audio” and offers “precise sound positioning to help gamers identify the direction of in-game audio cues.”
