Steel Front handed over ATVs and a mobile headquarters to the brigade: how this will change logistics at the front

Передача квадроциклів та мобільного штабу бригаді: як це вплине на забезпечення на передовій.

The initiative 'Steel Front' by Rinat Akhmetov has handed over another tranche of aid to the 157th separate mechanized brigade. This time the focus is on specialized transport for difficult terrain and means for deploying mobile positions.

The aid package includes 5 powerful ATVs designed for rapid movement of small groups, evacuation of the wounded, and delivery of ammunition in areas where standard vehicles cannot pass or are too noticeable a target. To ensure rotations and rear logistics, the brigade has also received 4 minibuses.

Specialized trailer-mobile home and drone components

An important item in the transfer was a specialized trailer-mobile home. The military plans to use it as a mobile command post or a rest area for drone crews working directly near the front line.

In addition, 'Steel Front' delivered a large batch of components for drone maintenance – from propellers and cables to transmitters, which will allow for urgent repairs and upgrades of drones in field conditions.

Logistics at the frontline

'War is not just tanks and artillery, it is primarily the logistics of the 'last kilometer'. The ATVs we handed over today provide the fighters with the ability to quickly 'jump' into position, accomplish their task, and disappear before the enemy reacts. And the mobile home is, in fact, an island of civilization and functionality in the field,' explains Anton Honcharuk, a representative of the initiative 'Steel Front' by Rinat Akhmetov. 'We are trying to provide not just 'iron', but tools that make combat work more effective and a bit more comfortable, as much as possible under wartime conditions.'

The brigade confirms that the received equipment will be immediately distributed among the units at the front.

Effective use of the donated equipment

'Mobility is life. Minibuses solve the issue of transporting personnel, and ATVs are indispensable in difficult terrain and heavy fire when a truck cannot pass. Regarding the 'little things' for drones – these are consumables that are always lacking, and having spare parts means that our 'birds' will always be in the air,' commented a representative of the 157th separate mechanized brigade. 'We are especially grateful for the trailer – for drone operators this is an opportunity to work in warmth and with protection from precipitation, which is critically important for preserving expensive equipment.'

The total sum of aid to the 157th separate mechanized brigade from 'Steel Front' amounts to over 144 million UAH.

It is worth noting that 'Steel Front' is a military initiative of businessman Rinat Akhmetov, created to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The initiative is the largest private donor to the army.

This news tells about the transfer of specialized transport for the military from the initiative 'Steel Front' by Rinat Akhmetov. Any assistance at the front enhances the effectiveness of military operations and ensures the comfort and safety of the fighters. Additional means for servicing drones and a mobile command post are essential components of military logistics.
