Weather forecast in Ukraine for August 15-17
The weather forecast in Ukraine for August 15-17 promises dry sunny weather without precipitation. The anticyclone will ensure comfortable temperatures, especially on Sunday, when heat up to 33 degrees is expected in most regions, with the exception of eastern regions and the northeast. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center and forecaster Natalka Didenko provided details about the weather conditions in various regions.
Weather on August 15-17
According to the forecast, on August 15, there will be little cloud cover without precipitation across Ukraine. The wind will be variable at a speed of 3-8 m/s. At night, the temperature will fluctuate between 8-13 degrees, while during the day it will be 23-28 degrees. In Transcarpathia, the daytime highs on August 15 will reach 30-33 degrees, while in the east and northeast the temperature will be milder — 20-25 degrees. In the Kyiv region, at night it is also expected to be 8-13 degrees, during the day the temperature will reach around 25 degrees.
Over the weekend, August 16-17, temperatures in most regions will rise to 27-33 degrees. According to Natalka Didenko, on Saturday daytime temperatures will fluctuate between 25-28 degrees, reaching +30 degrees in Transcarpathia. In regions with cooler weather, such as Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions, the temperature will be 20-23 degrees. On Sunday, heat will return again, with maximum readings of 29-33 degrees in most regions, while in the eastern regions and Sumy, temperatures will fluctuate between 25-28 degrees. In Kyiv, the temperature on Saturday will be around 27 degrees, and on Sunday — 30 degrees.
The next three days will see no precipitation, except for Monday, when short-term rain with thunderstorms is possible in the western and northern regions. During the nights of the weekend, the temperature will drop to 8-16 degrees, while during the day it will fluctuate between 21-28 degrees.

While forecasting the weather, she also added that “in Kyiv, no rain is expected on Saturday and Sunday, dry comfortable weather with blue skies, yellowing leaves, beautiful asters, and marigolds.”
