The judge of the Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court, Oleg Pavlyshyn, refused to affirm the charges against Oleksandr Granovsky. In his opinion, he noted that the prosecution did not provide sufficient evidence to confirm the suspicion from October 21, 2022, and the amended suspicion from October 3, 2024.

The judge believes that the evidence presented does not support the charges, in particular, that Granovsky commissioned actions that harmed the company, or that he managed abuses for the benefit of Newscope Estates Limited.

The protocol of examination of telephone connections, which substantiated Granovsky's communication with other participants, does not contain confirmation of the numbers belonging to the suspect.

Thus, the appellate instance upheld the decision of the investigating judge of August 20, 2024, and did not satisfy the complaint of the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.

During the consideration of the case, the court found that the evidence and testimonies submitted were not sufficient for charging Oleksandr Granovsky with abuse of power or corruption. The court also emphasized the lack of direct evidence of the suspect's involvement in the mentioned actions.
