Court Hearing in the Iryna Faryon Murder Case
On June 24, a session was held at the Shevchenkivskyi District Court in Lviv concerning the murder of Iryna Faryon. The accused, 18-year-old Vyacheslav Zinchenko, stated he was not ready to testify because his legal position had not been fully coordinated with his attorney, Larysa Kryvoruchko. “I believe such actions are completely illegal. Therefore, I cannot fully implement and coordinate the position, although we are basically about 75% ready to finalize it,” the lawyer stated.Zinchenko faces a potential life sentence on charges related to Faryon’s murder. Faryon died on July 19, 2024, after an assassination attempt on her life.
