Former advisor to Galushchenko has been chosen a preventive measure: the court named the bail amount

Обрано запобіжний захід для колишнього радника Галущенка: суд визначив суму застави.

Today, the court in the case of corruption schemes in 'Energoatom' decided that former advisor to Halyna Galushchenko, Ihor Myroniuk, has been chosen a preventive measure. He may remain in prison until January 8, or choose to be released on bail in the amount of 126 million hryvnias.

Prosecutors claim that Myroniuk was an active participant in the money laundering scheme within the company and helped attract new business partners. Meanwhile, the suspect's lawyer tried to prove that Ihor Myroniuk had a limited role in the Ministry of Energy and 'Energoatom' and was not an advisor to ministers.

Let me remind you that NABU uncovered a corruption scheme in 'Energoatom,' where unauthorized individuals were receiving bribes from the company's partners. It was also discovered that funds were 'legalized' through offshore companies. Among the suspects are Timur Mindich, Ihor Myroniuk, Dmytro Basov, and other employees involved in corrupt schemes.
