On June 3, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that a decision on frozen funding for Ukraine would be released soon. The package in question is a $400 million military aid package that received congressional approval but is currently being held up at the Pentagon. Rubio stated that
“a decision on the funds will appear quite soon.”
Additionally, the administration of President Donald Trump is planning significant investments in unmanned technology. Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth revealed that the 2027 budget includes $56 billion earmarked for achieving dominance in drone warfare.
“In President Trump’s 2027 budget, you will see $56 billion in investments for drone dominance,”Hegseth emphasized.
