The United States government anticipates that up to 10 million foreign guests will arrive in the country during the 2026 World Cup matches. This news was announced by the U.S. State Department and shared on social media platform X.
According to government estimates, the arrival of foreign guests for the event will bring in $30 billion to the country's economy and will contribute to the creation of 200,000 jobs for Americans.
In 2026, the World Cup will take place in the USA, Mexico, and Canada from June 11 to July 19. For Ukraine to qualify for the tournament, it needs to defeat two more opponents.
