Ukrainian Special Forces Destroyed the Latest Russian Missile Ship Grad: Attack Details

The special forces of Ukraine successfully struck the latest small missile ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet 'Grad' of project 21631 'Buyan-M'. The incident occurred at 04:31 a.m. on October 4, 2025, on Lake Onega in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. This was reported by the publication 'Glavkom' with reference to the Special Operations Service.



The missile ship 'Grad' with hull number 575 was commissioned into the Baltic Fleet of Russia only on December 29, 2022, and is considered one of the most modern in the fleet, equipped with the 'Caliber-NK' missile system.



The damage to the ship occurred while transitioning from the Baltic Sea to the Caspian Sea. The strike was aimed at the right part of the ship's power plant. More detailed information regarding the level of damage is currently being clarified.



Strikes on Important Aggressor Targets



During the night from October 3 to 4, 2025, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck important military and infrastructure targets of the aggressor on the territory of Russia and in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory. This was reported by the publication 'Glavkom' with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.



According to the General Staff, a strike was made on the 'KirishiNefteorgsintese' enterprise in the city of Kirishi, Leningrad Oblast, Russia. At this site, which is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia with an annual capacity of 19.8 million tons, explosions and a fire occurred. Details of the damage are still being clarified.



The events that took place indicate an intensification of Ukraine's special operations in various areas of the military conflict with Russia. Successful strikes on important targets of the aggressor confirm the readiness and effectiveness of the Ukrainian military in countering the enemy.
