European Qualifiers for WC-2027
Groups in the UEFA zone will be formed on November 4. Qualifying matches in Europe will occur in three stages. The group stage matches are scheduled for the period from February to June 2026 in three leagues - A (16 teams), B (16), and C (21). The winners of the four groups of League A will qualify directly for WC-2027.
The remaining slots will be determined in the playoff rounds in October-December 2026. In the second round, 16 teams will meet in eight pairs. The seven best winners will advance to the World Cup, while the eighth will have to participate in the intercontinental playoff.
