According to the 'Glavkom' portal, the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, Andrey Kovalenko, reported the possibility of Ukrainian interceptors that are capable of shooting down Russian reactive drones of the 'Shahed' type.

'There are also interceptors for reactive 'Shaheds', so when various stories circulate in social media about 'everything is lost' – nothing is lost. There are certain developments that I think will be announced at the right time,' he emphasized.

Kovalenko urged not to panic and assured that there are technologies that will help deal with such drones. It is worth noting that Russian 'Shaheds' were used during the attacks on Kyiv, launching over 300 drones and eight missiles.

The occupiers' response to the success of Ukrainian drones

Expert in electronic warfare Sergey 'Flash' Beskrestnov explained that Russian drones emerged as a reaction to the success of Ukrainian anti-aircraft drones, which effectively counteract conventional munitions.

Additionally, it is known that Russia has invested over $3 billion in the production of strike drones and attracted more than 900 companies to this process, confirming the active development of drone technology in the military field.

Ukrainian military can now confidently defend themselves against Russian reactive drones thanks to the presence of special interceptors. The developed technologies enable the country to stay one step ahead in military technology. The Russian reaction to the successful development of Ukrainian drones indicates the significance of this sector in modern military conflicts and competition between countries.
