As is known, the Jewish New Year, or Rosh Hashanah, is the most important event, which Jews celebrate not just as a change of calendar dates, but as the day of the beginning of human history, that is, the events described in the Holy Scriptures as the day of the creation of the first people - Adam and Eve.

In 2025, the holiday falls on September 22-24. There is no fixed date for this Jewish New Year, but it usually falls in September-October, on the first day of the month of Tishrei in the lunar Jewish calendar.

Rosh Hashanah is celebrated in honor of the creation of the world. The holiday symbolizes the end of the past year and the beginning of the new year. According to the Jewish calendar, the holiday marks the arrival of the year 5785 from the moment of the creation of the world.

The event demonstrates the importance of celebrating Rosh Hashanah for the Jewish community, as well as emphasizes the cultural and religious ties between Ukraine and the Jewish people. This holiday is a symbol of the beginning of a new cycle of life, renewal and reflection before the start of the new year.
