According to the latest information from the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience, about 2,300 clergymen-leaders of religious organizations have been removed from mobilization.
According to the data received by the state service, there are 7,726 religious organizations in the country that are recognized as critically important for the economy and the livelihood of the population. These organizations have been selected from a total of more than 30,000 registered organizations.
'We inform you that on June 27, 2025, the reservation of clergymen - leaders of religious organizations began. To date, 2,285 clergymen - leaders of religious organizations have successfully completed the reservation procedure,' the State Service for Ethnopolitics reported.
According to the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience, about 2,300 clergymen in Ukraine have already been removed from possible mobilization. It has been stated that this is an important step to ensure the stability and security of religious workers in the country. This information additionally emphasizes the importance of the role of religious organizations in society during periods of tense socio-political situations.
