Nearly 127 thousand Ukrainians evacuated: which regions are accepting more

Близько 127 тисяч українців знайшли тимчасовий прихисток: які області приймають найбільше людей.

People continue to be evacuated from the front-line territories of Ukraine to safer regions. From the beginning of June to November 14, 2025, nearly 127 thousand people were evacuated, including over 15 thousand children and more than 4 thousand people with limited mobility.

Here are some data regarding evacuation by regions:

  • Donetsk region — over 86.7 thousand people evacuated, including 9.6 thousand children;

  • Dnipropetrovsk region — about 25.4 thousand people evacuated, of which more than 4.5 thousand children;

  • Sumy region — over 4.1 thousand people evacuated, nearly 370 children;

  • Kherson region — over 3.5 thousand people evacuated, nearly 350 children;

  • Kharkiv region — over 5.7 thousand people evacuated, nearly 440 children;

  • Zaporizhzhia region — over 1 thousand people evacuated, more than 160 children.

Transit centers

Currently, there are 20 transit centers operating in Ukraine across several regions. The largest number is located in the Dnipropetrovsk region — eight, including in the cities of Pavlohrad, Dnipro, and the villages of Stepove and Voloske. Another five transit centers are operating in the Sumy region, two in Kharkiv, three in Volyn, one in Mykolaiv, and one in Zaporizhzhia.

In these centers, people receive comprehensive assistance: humanitarian, medical, psychological, legal, and social support. They help restore documents, arrange payments and social services, and also receive financial support from the state and humanitarian organizations.

Ukraine continues to evacuate people from the front-line areas to safe places. In total, more than 127 thousand people have already received assistance, and transit centers in several regions provide them with comprehensive support and aid. The safety and well-being of citizens is a priority during this difficult time.
