Of the total, UAH 72.8 billion went to pension payments: UAH 9.3 billion was distributed through Ukrposhta JSC and UAH 63.5 billion via authorized banks.

Moreover, housing subsidies and related benefits received UAH 1.5 billion, while insurance payouts accounted for UAH 2.8 billion, including UAH 1.4 billion for sick-leave compensation. Social assistance and other payments absorbed UAH 10.9 billion. In August, the Pension Fund of Ukraine delivered 952,200 services to citizens seeking support.

Social spending remains a key indicator of a country's economic health, as it underpins support for the most vulnerable. Sustaining pension commitments and social aid during economic turbulence shows the state's determination to preserve stability for its citizens.

Given the high number of people seeking assistance, it is clear that demand for social guarantees is growing amid today's challenges.
