Xiaomi 17T Series Goes on Sale in Ukraine: Leica 5x Telephoto Camera and Next-Gen Batteries

Xiaomi 17T Smartphone Series Now Available in Ukraine

Starting May 28, 2026, the Xiaomi 17T lineup will hit the Ukrainian market. This series includes two variants: the Xiaomi 17T and the Xiaomi 17T Pro, both available through the online marketplace Allo. Each model features a Leica telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, new MediaTek processors, and silicon-carbon battery technology.

The Xiaomi 17T sports a more compact 6.59-inch body, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro comes with a larger 6.83-inch frame. Both devices carry an IP68 rating, making them resistant to water and dust. Color options for the 17T include Violet, Blue, and Black; the 17T Pro is offered in Deep Blue, Deep Violet, and Black.

Camera and Display Highlights

The primary camera on both phones packs 50 MP resolution, with an aperture of ƒ/1.7 on the 17T and ƒ/1.67 on the 17T Pro. Optical image stabilization (OIS) is standard. The 17T Pro uses a Light Fusion 950 sensor, while the 17T relies on a Light Fusion 800 sensor. The Leica telephoto lens also delivers 50 MP, ƒ/3.0 aperture, OIS, and a 115mm equivalent focal length. Both phones support AI Ultra Zoom up to 120x and macro photography from 30 cm away. An ultra-wide camera offers 12 MP resolution, ƒ/2.2 aperture, and a 120° field of view.

Notable camera features include Leica Live Moment and Leica Live Portrait modes, plus the ability to record 4K and 8K video at high frame rates.

Displays on both models are 1.5K AMOLED panels with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits and four TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye care. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is powered by a 3nm Dimensity 9500 processor, equipped with an octa-core CPU clocked up to 4.21 GHz and a Mali G1-Ultra GPU. The Xiaomi 17T runs on a 4nm Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU.

Both phones share the same memory configuration: LPDDR5X at 9600 Mbps and UFS 4.1 storage. Available memory options include:

  • 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage
  • 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage
  • For the Pro model: 12 GB RAM + 1 TB storage

The operating system is Xiaomi HyperOS.

Batteries and Purchase Incentives

The batteries represent a new generation of silicon-carbon technology. The Xiaomi 17T Pro houses a 7,000 mAh cell and supports 100W wired and 50W wireless hypercharging. The Xiaomi 17T comes with a 6,500 mAh battery and 67W wired hypercharging. Both models also offer 22.5W reverse charging.

Customers who purchase between 4:30 PM on May 28 and June 30, 2026, will receive an extended 24-month warranty. Additionally, buyers get one free screen replacement within the first six months of purchase. Early adopters also receive a 3-month YouTube Premium subscription and 3 months of Google AI Pro.
