Every day at 9 o'clock Ukrainians honor the memory of those who lost their lives as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we will remember Andriy Kondratiuk.



Andriy Kondratiuk died defending Ukraine on September 13, 2025. This was reported by 'Glavcom', citing the Lviv City Council.



Life and activities


Andriy Kondratiuk was born on September 5, 1981, in Lviv. He graduated from the 'Yevshan' gymnasium in Lviv. He worked as an installation technician for ventilation systems and an electrician.


He was passionate about archaeology, fishing, and painting, and he collected antiques. He was noted for his sensitivity, kindness, sincerity, was a calm and intelligent person, always ready to help others, a loving husband, and a good father.



In 2025 he joined the 356th artillery regiment of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.


Commemoration


Andriy Kondratiuk is survived by his mother, wife, son, and family.

We remember those who fell at the hands of the Russian invaders, lighting candles of remembrance and bowing our heads in sorrow during the nationwide moment of silence, honoring the bright memory of the citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military, civilians, and children, all who died in the struggle against the Russian occupiers and as a result of the attack by hostile troops on Ukrainian cities and villages.


Andriy Kondratiuk is a hero who gave his life for a free and independent Ukraine. His death has been a great loss for the family and the entire country, which honors his memory along with all others who have fallen in the defense of the homeland.
