At the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Stake, new decisions were made aimed at increasing the stability of mobile communication in Ukraine during power outages. In particular, the number of operators' base stations with emergency power supply will be increased and reserve energy sources will be redistributed with a focus on frontline areas. This was reported by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov.

'The decision to increase the number of base stations with emergency power supply and to redistribute reserve energy sources with a focus on frontline areas has been supported,' wrote Umerov.

In addition to communication issues, the participants of the meeting discussed the development of Ukrainian long-range capabilities, strengthening the protection of energy infrastructure, and the results of combat use of long-range strike capabilities. Special attention was paid to attacks on energy facilities and the resilience of mobile communication in a state of war.

According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, there are plans to expand the geography of long-range strikes on the territory of the aggressor, and long-term contracts with weapon manufacturers will ensure stable workload for enterprises and predictability of supplies to the military.

The Ukrainian government is taking measures to increase the stability of mobile communication in the country, specifically by increasing the number of base stations with emergency power supply and expanding the geography of long-range strikes. Issues of protecting energy infrastructure and the resilience of communications during wartime are also being considered.
