In the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops regularly suffer losses in battles with the Ukrainian army, said the head of the communication department of the 118th separate mechanized brigade, Dmytro Pelykh.
According to him, although the Russians continue their attacks and reconnaissance, all their attempts at breakthrough end with a large number of casualties. Local fighters regularly reduce the number of enemy assault troops, but new fighters are constantly arriving to their ranks. It is noted that the motivation of Russian military personnel has changed recently, and now many of them come to fight only for money.
'This is a true 'hodgepodge' - here you can find both mercenaries from Africa and ordinary people from the Russian hinterland,' Pelykh explained.
However, only one out of twenty Russians returns from the Orikhiv direction, which indicates a high mortality rate among enemy troops. The Russian military command deliberately misleads its soldiers by giving them false information to lure them into assaults, even despite the known risk of losses.
'For these occupiers, for a long time, only one thing matters - to be alive,' emphasized Dmytro Pelykh.
Russian troops continue to attempt to break through the Ukrainian defense in the Orikhiv direction, but remain unsuccessful due to the high readiness and experience of the Ukrainian army fighters.
