“Increasing the number of enrollments in vocational schools this year is our priority task. We are updating workshops in vocational schools so that students can learn on new equipment that meets labor market requirements. Vocational schools are no longer a 'Plan B.' This is a conscious choice. It is an opportunity for youth to acquire a profession, stay in Ukraine, create its new future, and develop the economy,”
To enroll in vocational schools, there is no need to take external independent assessment. Applicants go through a competitive selection process, and each institution establishes its own selection criteria. Many of them use the average score of the school certificate to form a ranking of candidates.
The conditions for admission and education in vocational education institutions vary from 6 months to 3 years, depending on the chosen profession and previous education level. Applications for admission must be submitted by the end of September either in person at the educational institution or online through the electronic cabinet on the EDIBO website. Educational institutions set the deadlines for document submission and usually accept applications from July 1 to the end of August, with possible additional recruitment until the end of September. To enroll, you need to have an application, a certificate of completion of 9th or 11th grade, photographs, a medical certificate, possible benefits, a copy of your passport or ID card.
The start of the enrollment campaign in vocational schools in Ukraine on July 1 opens up opportunities for high school graduates to quickly acquire in-demand professions in the labor market through modern progressive vocational educational institutions.
