Kyiv Prosecutor Files Lawsuit Against Developer

The construction project, located on Mykola Yunkerov Street, involved the building of low-rise residential buildings with a total area exceeding 16,000 square meters. While the mandatory developer contribution scheme was abolished in Ukraine as of January 1, 2021, the law still requires developers to settle any fees that became due before that date. This case is part of a broader pattern of increased oversight in the urban development sector.
The Kyiv Commercial Court will now hear the case, underscoring the importance of developers fulfilling their financial commitments to the city.
