Wage Growth for Dentists and Other Specialists in Ukraine

According to data from the OLX platform for February 2026, dentists are now the highest-paid professionals in Ukraine, with a median salary of 150,000 hryvnias. This represents a significant 20 percent increase in their earnings over the previous year. The data also reveals varied median salaries and annual growth rates across other sectors, including auto repair, construction, logistics, manufacturing, and retail.

Specialist Salaries Across Different Sectors

Auto service and car wash specialists rank second in the earnings survey. Specifically, auto body repair technicians earn a median salary of 70,000 hryvnias, a 27 percent year-on-year increase. Auto painters and auto electricians both earn 60,000 hryvnias, with growth rates of 17 and 33 percent, respectively. Mechanics earn 45,000 hryvnias, seeing a 14 percent rise in their income.

In the construction sector, facade installers earn 67,500 hryvnias, a 15 percent increase from February 2025. Plasterers receive 66,300 hryvnias (up 13 percent), and bricklayers earn 65,000 hryvnias with a substantial 30 percent growth. Other construction roles, such as general builders and foremen, have salaries of 50,000 hryvnias, with increases of 11 and 14 percent, respectively. Tile setters earn 47,000 hryvnias, their wages having surged by 39 percent.

In logistics, long-haul truck drivers have a median salary of 60,000 hryvnias, a 33 percent increase. Delivery drivers earn 42,500 hryvnias, a 16 percent rise. Within manufacturing and skilled trades, electricians earn 38,800 hryvnias, with a notable 41 percent wage growth. Handymen earn 37,500 hryvnias (up 9 percent), while industrial painters also earn 37,500 hryvnias, their pay having jumped by 42 percent. Turners earn 35,000 hryvnias, an 11 percent increase.

Mid-level management salaries are also noteworthy: sales managers command a median salary of 38,000 hryvnias, with a 38 percent annual growth rate. Overall, the growth in median wages sometimes reaches up to +40%, indicating a dynamic and evolving labor market in Ukraine. This data provides a snapshot of wage trends in a post-war economy where skilled labor is in high demand.

The rising salaries across various industries point to economic revitalization and increased demand for qualified specialists.
