Ukrainians have been explained that they cannot be fined for failing to renew their registration data if the deadline for this has already passed. This was reported by lawyer of 'Roman Satsyk' law firm, Maria Hanina, to the publication 'RBK-Ukraine'.

Action of martial law in Ukraine

According to the currently functioning martial law regime with mandatory mobilization, men of conscription age must comply with military registration requirements if they receive a summons to the military enlistment office. Last year, an updated mobilization law was adopted, under which men were required to submit their registration data to the military enlistment office by July 16, 2025.

'They are no longer fined. The statute of limitations for administrative liability for untimely data updating expired on July 17, 2025. After this date, they have no right to impose administrative liability for this offense and impose a fine. However, if a decision was made before July 17, 2025 - payment is required,' lawyer Hanina explained.

However, conscripted individuals can still be fined for ignoring summons and violating other military registration rules during martial law.
