Collapse of Russia hinges on one condition, says Freedom of Russia Legion fighter

Ситуація в Росії може кардинально змінитися, вважає боєць легіону Свободи Росії.

Strategy to Exhaust Russia

In an interview with journalist Yanina Sokolova, a 22-year-old fighter from the Freedom of Russia Legion using the call sign Yasen outlined a strategy to drain Russia through relentless waves of mobilization. According to him, the goal is to force the aggressor to keep mobilizing until its human resources are completely depleted. Yasen stated that victory will come when entirely unprepared individuals—including people with disabilities—are compelled to go to the frontlines.

Originally from Murmansk, Yasen emphasized the need to create a situation where the aggressor’s manpower runs out faster than it can be replenished.

“We need to bleed them dry until they can no longer recruit people quickly enough to refill their ranks. Force them to keep mobilizing until they’re scraping the bottom of the barrel, sending in untrained, to put it mildly, personnel,” he said.

International Relations and Negotiations

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of the Hudson Institute. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio commented on the lack of progress in talks regarding Ukraine, noting that Washington has no intention of wasting time on a process without real advancement. These developments highlight the ongoing relevance of military strategy and international relations within the context of the conflict in Ukraine.

The strategy articulated by Yasen reflects the new challenges Russia faces in its mobilization efforts and could become a key factor in the future course of military operations. At the same time, the U.S. response to the Ukraine talks signals a need for more decisive action from the international community, which could shift the conflict’s dynamics. These elements underscore a complex situation where the balance of power continues to evolve based on both internal and external factors.

As the situation evolves, the shift in Ukraine's approach following recent leadership changes reflects a broader strategy to systematically weaken Russia. This aligns with the insights shared by Yasen, emphasizing the importance of exhausting Russian resources.
