The court will turn to the Constitution of Ukraine to review the law on the determination of the minimum wage for calculating payments based on court decisions. This case with the constitutional complaint was considered by the first senate on December 10, 2025.
Oleksiy Pavlovych Nevmerzhytskyi has applied to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine with a request to check the conformity of the law on the State Budget for 2024, which establishes the minimum wage at 1600 hryvnias.
Pensioner Nevmerzhytskyi disagrees with this decision and believes that his rights are being violated.
The Zhytomyr court has already considered this case and previously demanded the payment of an additional pension amount for Mr. Oleksiy.
New steps in the case
In 2024, Nevmerzhytskyi filed an appeal, but it was rejected, as well as the cassation complaint. Now he hopes that the Constitutional Court will fairly resolve his issue.
A representative of the Verkhovna Rada was present at the meeting to remind about the importance of this case.
