The Commercial Court granted the claim to recover 28.2 million UAH in favor of the regional military administration. It is known that the Volyn regional prosecutor's office initiated the lawsuit in the city of Kyiv due to the supply of low-quality body armor and combat helmets. The court found that this product did not meet quality standards, and therefore decided to compensate the specified amount.
Prosecutors established that in April 2022, the company supplied 884 body armor and 846 combat helmets that did not meet quality requirements.
It is also worth noting that the court had previously imposed a fine of 5.6 million UAH on the LLC in favor of the regional military administration for a similar violation. Over the past year, companies have been actively monitored for the quality of supplied products to ensure the safety of military personnel.
Thus, the court's decision contributes to the protection of military interests and raises requirements for suppliers in the field of military equipment and gear.
