Court in Kyiv issued sentences to saboteurs and a traitor: details of the case
In Kyiv, two defendants in sabotage received sentences, one for setting fire to a relay cabinet of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", the other for setting fire to a branch of JSC "Ukrposhta". A 60-year-old man was also convicted of treason.

A 21-year-old man was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property for setting fire to the relay cabinet of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", committed in April 2023. The defendant was found guilty under part 2 of article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for sabotage committed under martial law.

A 33-year-old resident of Kyiv received 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property for setting fire to a branch of JSC "Ukrposhta", committed in February 2025. This defendant was found guilty under parts 2 of article 27, part 2 of article 28, and part 2 of article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for complicity in the commission of sabotage perpetrated by a group of individuals.

A 60-year-old resident of Kyiv region was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property for treason. This man collected and transferred information regarding the consequences of missile strikes on critical infrastructure facilities in Kyiv since the fall of 2022. He was found guilty under article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for treason committed under martial law.
