The district court in Warsaw concluded a hearing in which the court decided to extend Ukrainian Volodymyr's imprisonment by 40 days. He is suspected by Germany of sabotaging the 'Nord Stream' gas pipeline. This was reported by 'Glaсkom' citing RMF24.

The court considered the prosecutor's request to extend the suspect's imprisonment for up to 100 days. It decided to extend the term by 40 days. The court will also decide on the possible extradition of the man to Germany, which must first familiarize itself with the documentation provided by the Germans. This has a timeframe of 100 days.

Several dozen people gathered before the court, protesting against the arrest of the Ukrainian and demanding his release. They held Polish and Ukrainian flags, as well as banners with slogans supporting the suspect.

The law firm representing the man also collected signatures in his support. According to the defender of the Ukrainian, they gathered over 2 thousand.
