In September 2025, the High Anti-Corruption Court ruled to keep the former Deputy Prime Minister in custody in the Mindich case, setting an alternative bail at 51.6 million hryvnias under the decision of Viktor Nogachevskiy.

Olexiy Chernyshov was notified of suspicion of illegal enrichment, with evidence that he and his wife received over 1.2 million dollars and nearly 100 thousand euros in cash from the suspects Tsukerman and Furshenko through the 'Intellectual Club', part of the money may be related to the construction of mansions in Koncha-Zaspa.

In case of posting bail, Chernyshov must remain in the Kyiv region, report changes of residence, appear for interrogations, and avoid communication with other suspects.

On November 10, 2025, NABU conducted searches at the offices of Mindich, Halushchenko, and 'Energoatom', leading to the businessman fleeing by transferring over 100 million dollars through a 'laundering'.

The case of Chernyshov is part of the 'Midas' operation of NABU and SAP aimed at uncovering a corruption scheme in the energy sector involving Timur Mindich. It became known that during the VAKS meeting, new details of the conspiracy between the suspects were discussed.
