Judges Exposed in Corruption Schemes

According to the investigation, he allegedly attempted to persuade a lawyer to pay a $30,000 bribe to a judge of Kyiv's Solomianskyi District Court. The payment was intended to secure an acquittal in a criminal case related to official misconduct. The Chernivtsi judge has been formally notified of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 27 and Part 3 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Listed on real estate websites for nearly $1 million, the final purchase price was approximately $900,000. Based on the National Bank of Ukraine exchange rate at the time of purchase, this equates to roughly 24 million hryvnias.
