Emergency restoration work continues in Okhtyrka in the Sumy region after the area was damaged as a result of a Russian strike. Rescuers, communal services, and volunteers have been actively working for the second day in a row, assisting people whose houses and apartments were damaged by the shelling. Equipment for high-altitude work is being used to dismantle dangerous structures on the roof of a residential building. Additionally, the restoration of window openings in living quarters and common areas of the building is underway.
All activities are aimed at the rapid restoration of damaged buildings and creating safe conditions for residents. Local authorities and volunteer groups are actively working together to provide the necessary assistance to the victims and restore a normal pace of life in the area.
