Ukrainian Defense Forces Receive 24 Images a Day: How ICEYE Satellites Are Changing the War

Ukrainian military will gain the ability to monitor the movements of Russian troops thanks to the satellite technology of ICEYE. The company's founder, Rafal Modzewski, explained that their technology allows for capturing many images of a single location throughout the day, enabling constant monitoring of the situation on the battlefield.

ICEYE has the largest fleet of commercial synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites in the world, capable of imaging any point on Earth with high-resolution and irrespective of weather conditions or time of day. They have already provided crucial information for Ukraine before the invasion in 2022 and later when access to data was limited. ICEYE retains control over its satellites and is ready to support Ukraine in the future.
