Супутникові знімки підтверджують влучення ракет FP-5 у російський оборонний завод поблизу Волгограда.

Satellite Photos of the Titan-Barrikady Plant

New satellite images have surfaced showing the Titan-Barrikady facility in Volgograd, which was targeted by Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles. According to available information, at least two missiles hit one of the plant's workshops. The strike occurred on the night of June 27, as confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They also reported that three workshops at the complex were damaged in the attack.

The images were released by the monitoring project Exilenova+. The intelligence community InformNapalm expressed gratitude to the Russian TV and radio company Volgograd-TRV and its editor-in-chief, Artem Yamshchikov, for a report aired on June 21 that helped identify the target. In this context, InformNapalm noted:

“The Ukrainian Defense Forces liked this work so much that already on June 27, they decided to urgently pay a personal visit to this plant using the FP-5 Flamingo.”

Strategic Implications of the Strike

Titan-Barrikady is a key enterprise within Russia's military-industrial complex. Reports indicate that on the same night, Ukrainian forces also struck two oil refineries and a bridge in Crimea. Monitoring channels have described this hit as a painful blow to enemy production capabilities. President Zelenskyy emphasized that Titan-Barrikady is a legitimate target for long-range weapons. InformNapalm also hinted at the possibility of presenting awards made from debris of the Titan-Barrikady facility.

The attack on Titan-Barrikady highlights an escalation in Ukrainian military operations against Russia's defense industry, potentially impacting the supply of military materials. The use of advanced weapons like the FP-5 Flamingo missile demonstrates the evolution of Ukrainian military technology. This event may also affect morale on both sides, as striking industrial assets that support combat operations underscores Ukraine's resolve in its defensive efforts.

The recent strike on the Titan-Barrikady facility marks a significant escalation in Ukraine's military strategy, particularly following the attack on another key site.
