Swiss Grant Program for the Restoration of Ukraine
The Swiss Confederation has launched the second phase of the grant program for the restoration of the Ukrainian economy and infrastructure with a budget of 150 million Swiss francs. The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at supporting the restoration of Ukraine after military actions.
According to the program's conditions, the amount for one project can range from 3 to 30 million Swiss francs. The application deadline will last until March 8, 2026, providing an opportunity for a wide range of organizations and companies to submit their proposals. In 2025, 60 companies already proposed nearly 80 ideas for the restoration of Ukraine, indicating active business participation in this process.
Main Grant Areas
Switzerland has already invested 93 million francs in 12 critical projects that are currently being implemented. Among the main areas targeted by grants are:
- energy and housing reconstruction
- public transport development
- healthcare modernization
- humanitarian demining of territories
The launch of the second phase of the Swiss grant program is a testament to the ongoing international support for Ukraine in the restoration process after the war.
The importance of this funding lies not only in specific projects but also in encouraging business to actively participate in recovery processes. The program also demonstrates Switzerland's commitment to helping Ukraine address the social and economic problems arising from military actions, which is critical for the stabilization and development of the country.
