In a number of regions of Ukraine, hourly electricity blackouts have started to be implemented. According to information from 'Hvylya', this was reported by Ukrenergo. The company explained that in some areas, instead of emergency blackouts, hourly blackout schedules (HBP) will now be used to ease the lives of consumers who have long been without electricity.
To find out the blackout schedule for your address, you can visit the websites of the regional electricity distribution companies in your area.
Ukrenergo also reported that in some regions, emergency shutdowns caused by the consequences of Russian aggression are still ongoing.
'Important! The situation in the energy system may change. Please pay attention to announcements on the websites of your regional electricity distribution company. If you currently have access to electricity, please use it carefully!' – emphasized the company.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of October 22, Russia launched a new series of strikes on the energy infrastructure and urban settlements of Ukraine, using ballistic missiles and drones.
The Ukrainian energy agency Ukrenergo is introducing hourly electricity blackouts in some regions of the country, replacing emergency blackouts. This decision was made to ease the lives of consumers affected by prolonged interruptions in electricity supply. The company urges residents to be cautious with electricity consumption and to monitor updates regarding the energy situation in their region on the websites of regional electricity distribution companies.
