Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast Taisiia Onofriichuk has won the all-around gold medal at the third stage of the World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan. This victory caps a stellar performance, as she qualified for all four individual apparatus finals scheduled for April 19th. This World Cup series is a key proving ground for gymnasts in the lead-up to major championships.

After two days of qualification, Onofriichuk's total score of 115.650 points secured her the top position. Her best performance came with the clubs, where she earned the highest score of the competition at 29.700 points. She scored 29.550 with the hoop and 29.100 with the ribbon. Her score of 27.300 with the ball placed her sixth in that discipline.

The Podium Finishers

Second place went to Germany's Darja Varfolomeev with 114.750 points. Bulgaria's Stiliana Nikolova took the bronze medal with a score of 114.050.

Beyond Onofriichuk's success, another Ukrainian gymnast, Polina Karika, finished the all-around competition in 14th place. The Ukrainian national group finished 13th. This gold medal marks Onofriichuk's second individual all-around title of the season, and she has also won three gold medals in individual apparatus finals at World Cup events. Her achievements highlight a strong competitive season for the young athlete.
