The Taliban have begun to more closely monitor Russian and Belarusian agents in Afghanistan, it has been reported. According to intelligence, they suspect them of attempting to provoke conflicts between different countries, using the 'Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan'. A network of agents has been created with the aim of confronting the interests of foreign states.

On July 3, Russia became the first country in the world to recognize the 'Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan'. By July 7, the head of the Taliban's counterintelligence, Asadullah Barialai, noted that Russian 'tourists', journalists, and other visitors had begun to actively arrive in the country, and he suspected that many of them could be intelligence officers. He also proposed specific measures to counter the activities of Russian and Belarusian agents.

Thus, the aforementioned intelligence indicates that the Taliban are making efforts to avoid negative influence from Russian and Belarusian agents, who may cause conflicts in Afghanistan and disrupt stability in the region.
