Electricity Prices in Ukraine for February 2026
Electricity tariffs for Ukrainian households will remain stable in February 2026. The standard fixed rate for most of the population is set at 4.32 UAH per kWh. This price is guaranteed to stay unchanged at least until the end of the heating season in April 2026. Maintaining stable utility costs is a key government priority amid ongoing economic challenges.
Households using electric heating benefit from a special reduced rate of 2.64 UAH per kWh, applicable for monthly consumption up to 2,000 kWh. Any usage exceeding this limit will be charged at the standard rate of 4.32 UAH per kWh. Furthermore, a discounted night-time tariff of 2.16 UAH per kWh is available for consumption between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
How to Apply for the Night Tariff and Available Subsidies
To switch to the night-time tariff, consumers must submit an application and a set of documents to their local electricity distribution company (oblenergo). The required documents include:
- Passport;
- Tax Identification Number;
- Proof of property ownership;
- Supply contract.
Additionally, certain groups are eligible for bill discounts ranging from 25% to 100%. These include combat veterans, people with disabilities, and specific categories of rural pensioners. This multi-tiered tariff policy for February 2026 is designed to accommodate the diverse needs of Ukrainian consumers. The system aims to provide financial relief to vulnerable groups while encouraging efficient energy use during peak and off-peak hours.
