Water tariffs for the population will remain unchanged. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Swiridenko. She stressed that the government has already appealed to the NKREKP with a request to postpone the scheduled tariff changes.
Clear position of the government
Yulia Swiridenko noted that in wartime conditions, people should not face additional financial pressure. The next step will be to develop a joint solution by the government together with the NKREKP. This solution should take into account the interests of consumers as well as the needs of water utilities to avoid the accumulation of debts.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Swiridenko, stated that water tariffs for the population will not change, and the government plans to find a compromise solution together with the energy regulator. The main goal is to protect the interests of citizens and avoid an increase in water prices in the current difficult situation in the country.
