As of September 1, new rules have come into effect in Ukraine for employees of the Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC): they are now required to record their work on body cameras. This decision is aimed at ensuring transparency and protecting the rights of those liable for military service and TCC employees. The Ministry of Defense has started developing a specialized IT system for video recording, which will simplify the process and standardize it for all parties involved.

  • It is planned to purchase standardized cameras;

  • Creation of a centralized data storage;

  • Use of specialized software.

The body camera is supposed to automatically start recording when the alert groups begin their work and continue until it is completed, except for situations of restricted access or personal needs of the employees. Control over the use of body cameras is assigned to responsible persons at the TCC.

The new norms are aimed at protecting the rights of citizens who seek help from the TCC and increasing the transparency of these centers' work. The development and implementation of an IT system for video recording will help avoid possible abuses and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
