Prices for thermal and waterproofing materials in Ukraine have increased by 15-20% since the beginning of 2025, but demand remains stable. This was reported by the sales director of Sweetondale, Oleksandr Manuylo, to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
'In 2025, there were several price increases in the segment of thermal and waterproofing materials - overall by 15-20% depending on the category of products. This is the first time in four years of war and is largely related to the rise in prices for energy resources, equipment, and raw materials imported from outside Ukraine,' Manuylo explained.
According to the company, demand remains stable, and even in some sales channels, there is an observed increase. Despite active hostilities, the direction of industrial logistics complexes is rapidly developing, and the thermomodernization of the old housing stock continues.
Problems with financing the restoration and construction of new facilities
Expert Manuylo noted the lack of financing for international recovery programs, particularly from USAID, in 2025. At the same time, he added that the company continues to support the construction of state projects and fortification facilities.
The rise in prices for thermal and waterproofing materials in Ukraine raises questions about the accessibility of building materials for the population and industry enterprises. Despite this, demand for these products remains stable, indicating a constant demand for construction and insulation materials in the country.
