Extension of the 'Winter Support' program
The term for using the 'Winter Support' program, which provides financial assistance to Ukrainians, has been extended until the end of February 2026. Previously, the funds amounting to one thousand hryvnias could only be used in December 2025 and January 2026. This decision will allow Ukrainians to receive additional financial support in the context of a difficult economic situation.
Application procedure
Applications for this assistance can be submitted until December 24, 2025. Applications can be submitted electronically through the 'Diya' app or in paper form at 'Ukrpost' branches. For residents of frontline areas, the services of a mobile post office are available, which will simplify the receipt of assistance.
The money received under the program can be spent on:
- communal and postal services
- domestically produced goods
- charity
- food products (in the near future)
For consultations and assistance with the application process, Ukrainians can use the 'Ukrpost' hotline at 0 800 300 545. This initiative is aimed at supporting the population during the winter period and providing the necessary financial resources to cover basic needs.
