The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, reported that more than 5.8 thousand houses in Kyiv are without electricity due to a massive Russian attack.

The most difficult situation has developed on the left bank of the capital, where both electricity and water supply have simultaneously disappeared. Problems also exist in the Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Solomianskyi districts. All these areas are suffering from outages, although the situation is less critical in other parts of Kyiv.

Due to the lack of electricity, the movement of trams and trolleybuses has been partially stopped. The priority of the restoration work is to reconnect social infrastructure and urban communications. Only after this will electricity supply to residential buildings be restored.

The government promises to restore water supply in Kyiv and the Kirovohrad region by the end of the day. Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko stated that critical facilities in the capital have already been restored. These promises give some hope to residents and help restore calm.
