The government has already reminded citizens of the need to spend the allocated funds by the end of 2025 to avoid their return to the budget. This applies to the financial assistance received under the population support program, which many Ukrainians have already used for various needs.
In particular, the funds can be spent on utilities and other services, medical and legal needs, education, sports, recreation, transportation, communication, and insurance. Therefore, those who have not yet utilized the received funds are urged not to waste time and spend them on useful needs.

According to the government portal 'Diia', Ukrainians will have to use the 'Zelensky's thousand' by 2025, otherwise the unused funds may be returned to the state budget without the possibility of further use.
